A blaze at an industrial building took firefighters 12 hours to control.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on Pontardawe Road in Pontardawe, Neath Port Talbot at 14:57 GMT on Monday.

The fire was put out just before 03:00 on Tuesday.

The fire service said 15 crews were faced with a rapidly developing fire involving storage units and multiple chemicals used in manufacturing.

They added the incident did not involve any casualties and crews successfully prevented the fire in the rear storage units from spreading to the main building structure.
