A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a fire incident on a city centre road.
Crews were called to The Butts in Worcester on Tuesday after a blaze at a block of flats, Hereford & Worcester fire and rescue service said.
Four pumps were initially sent at 17:45 GMT, but that number was reduced to two about an hour later.
West Mercia Police later confirmed a 39-year-old had been arrested with enquiries ongoing.
No casualties were reported, but the second floor flat suffered 75% fire damage and 100% smoke damage, according to the fire service.
