The poppy wave has returned to Plymouth and is on display at the town's Guildhall.

The handmade, weatherproof poppies were created in 2023 by schools pupils, knitting clubs, council staff and members of the public who donated poppies.

Councillor Pauline Murphy, deputy lord mayor, thought of the idea in 2023, said Plymouth City Council, with the poppy wave displayed on the Council House balcony.

The poppies will be on display until Remembrance weekend.
