Police are trying to find the driver of a car which 'ploughed' into a hedge

Police are investigating after a car "ploughed" into a front garden hedge.

The blue Ford Fiesta was left in the hedge outside a house in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire after police were called at about 02:40 BST on Saturday.

A police spokeswoman said officers were trying to trace the driver.

She said three "males" were seen to leave the scene, on Sweetings Road, and no-one was believed to have been hurt.

A police spokeswoman said "thankfully" the car had missed the house.

Police posted images of the aftermath of the crash on Facebook.
