A cinema is seeking permission to stay open all night and screen films around the clock.

Vue Cinema in Norwich's Castle Quarter has submitted an application to extend its opening hours and change its premises licence with Norwich City Council.

According to Local Democracy Reporting Service, the change would also permit alterations to the venue’s layout and allow it to serve food and drink from 23:00 until 05:00.

Norwich will soon be home to four cinemas after it emerged an Everyman Cinema was moving into the former Pizza Hut and Escape Hunt venue at Chantry Place shopping centre.

The new location will have four screens and seating for 300 people.
