Lanes on a main road in Grimsby will be closed for two days, North East Lincolnshire Council has warned.

The A180 Cleethorpe Road bridge will be restricted to a single lane on both the westbound and eastbound carriageways on Monday and Tuesday.

The work, to install lighting in the central reservation, will be carried out between 09:30 and 14:00 BST.

Overnight closures, which were previously announced, have been cancelled.

The westbound approach to Lockhill roundabout will filter down to one lane near the marina.

A lane restriction will also be in place eastbound and will remove the right-hand lane over the bridge until the work is completed.

Earlier this week, National Highways announced a serious of lane closures and overnight closures for a stretch of the A180 between Brocklesby and Barnetby Top.

Work to repair 200 concrete sections of the road will run from 11 October to 19 December.
