Police officer guilty of two counts of assault

A serving police officer has been found guilty of two counts of assault.
Jesse Le Galloudec was charged by Guernsey Police in June after an investigation into a complaint made in August 2024.
The 28-year-old was found guilty of both charges after a trial at Magistrate's Court but is yet to be sentenced.
Guernsey Police said its internal misconduct investigation, which was paused to await the outcome of the proceedings, would resume now the trial had finished.
It said: "Guernsey Police cannot comment further on this investigation while these conduct proceedings are ongoing."
