Drivers have been warned of potentially dangerous conditions during the Monday morning rush hour.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for fog across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

Motorists were advised that overnight fog was expected to persist until about 09:00 BST, with some dense fog in East Anglia particularly likely. Visibility was expected to fall to about 50 metres (164ft) in places.

The Met Office also said fog could cause delays or cancellations at airports, but at about 06:40 no disruption had been reported at Stansted, Norwich or Southend.
