Woman arrested after cyclist seriously injured

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a cyclist was badly injured in a collision with her car.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened in the St Pauls area of Gloucester at 16:45 BST on Sunday 23 June.
The incident happened on Linden Road with the junction of Seymour Road, involving a Honda Jazz.
The male cyclist, in his 40s, was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance with serious head, chest and leg injuries.
The 46-year-old woman's car collided with the cyclist before colliding with a stationary car.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has asked anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the collision to get in touch via its website, quoting incident number 342 of 23 June.
