Five people have been arrested as part of a police operation to target drug dealers in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said it made five arrests as part of a series of warrants at properties in Chaddesden on Wednesday.

The force said three men, 41, 25 and 38, and a 40-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

A 51-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

The operation involved more than 20 officers, who discovered what they believed to be Class A and Class B drugs.
