Motorcyclist dies two weeks after motorway crash

A motorcyclist has died in hospital almost two weeks after a motorway collision involving a car.
The crash happened on Tuesday 22 July on the M1 in Bedfordshire, near Toddington Services.
A red Yamaha motorbike and grey Audi Q3 car collided between junctions 12 and 13 northbound at about 13:45 BST.
Bedfordshire Police has issued a fresh appeal for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage.
Police said the rider of the motorcycle suffered severe injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died on Monday 4 August.
Det Sgt Ben Heath, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim at this tragic time.
"We're appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to get in touch.
"In particular we'd like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage which could assist with our investigation."
