Police officer sacked for 'rape fantasy' messages

A police officer who sent messages which said he was "attracted" to underage girls and described "rape fantasies" has been sacked.
PC Blake Payne-Humphries had only been a Northumbria Police officer for six months when he also sent a female staff member a sexually explicit photo while on duty, a misconduct panel heard.
He then sent the woman a series of messages, including the suggestion that women "wanted to be raped".
The panel found the officer's conduct was "grossly offensive" and that such behaviour would not be tolerated.
PC Payne-Humphries sent a photo of his genitals to the woman, which he had taken in the toilet while on duty at Southwick Police Station, Sunderland, on 1 September 2022.
On the same day, he asked the woman to send him messages he would find "hot".
She sent him photos of women to comment on, and in response to one of the images he said the "best thing is she looks about 12".
He said another one looked "so young and was hot too", the panel heard.
The misconduct panel heard he also told the woman he wanted to raise a transgender child in order to "sexually abuse" them.
PC Payne-Humphries did not attend the misconduct hearing and the panel was told he had not "at any time" disputed sending the messages or the image.
The panel said the officer had demonstrated "predatory behaviour".
It also said he had "belittled women and young girls" and was "discriminatory" towards members of the transgender community.
The officer was found guilty of gross misconduct and was sacked with immediate effect.
He was also placed on the police barred list.
