Two men have been arrested after almost 150 cannabis plants were found at a house in Nottingham.

Nottinghamshire Police said they were called to reports a man had been threatened on Monday, which led to them finding the grow at a house in Tunstall Crescent, Aspley.

The force said plants were growing in bedrooms, the kitchen and lounge area, while the electricity supply had also been bypassed.

Two men, aged 29 and 42, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating a Class B drug and have since been bailed while investigations continue.

Seized and destroyed

Police said the man who had reportedly been threatened was found in Bells Lane, Aspley, at about 00:20 BST on Monday after he approached members of the public.

He said he had been chased from a property by a group of men.

Investigations led officers to Tunstall Crescent where they discovered the cannabis grow.

Police said the plants had been seized and destroyed, and the equipment for the grow will be dismantled.
