Serious crash closes A38 for several hours
The A38 will be shut in Burton-upon-Trent for most of Saturday after the crash, Staffordshire Police said

A road in Staffordshire will be closed for several hours after a serious crash, police said.
Officers were called to the A38 in Burton-upon-Trent, near Shobnall Bridge, at about 09:20 GMT on Saturday.
Details of the crash have not been released by the Staffordshire force but officers said the road was shut in both directions.
The closure was likely to last until the evening, the force added.
A diversion route was put in place due to the closure between the A38's two junctions north and south with the A5121, National Highways added.
