Cyclist who died after Hull crash named by police

A cyclist who died after a collision with a van has been named by police.

David Beaudoin, 57, was taken to hospital in a critical condition following the incident in Calvert Road, Hull. He died later from his injuries.

Humberside Police said Mr Beaudoin was riding his bike when the collision with a silver Volkswagen Caddy happened shortly after 18:00 BST on 25 May.

The force said it was continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and appealed again for witnesses to come forward.
