Former office space above a bank in Lincoln city centre is set to be transformed into flats.

It comes after a change-of-use application was approved by planning officers at City of Lincoln Council.

The decision means proposals for two one-bedroom units above the High Street branch of Barclays can now proceed.

Approval was granted on Monday.

According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, there would be two units - one designed for single-occupancy and the other for two people.

No external or internal structural alterations would be needed for the project and all habitable rooms would have windows.

The vacant site was previously occupied by a local networking organisation.
