A market in Lincoln has officially reopened after a £7m refit.
Work to refurbish the Cornhill Market in the city centre first started in May 2022.
City of Lincoln Council said it is a "perfect blend of a traditional city marketplace and a high-quality food hall".
A ceremony attended by local dignitaries took place on Friday morning with a ribbon-cutting to mark the official opening.
Council leader Naomi Tweddle said there was a "real buzz" about the place.
"People seemed really impressed, and I think it's one of those things that will just grow," she said.
"We hope it will entice locals and visitors into the city centre."
A government programme of £5.9m from Be Lincoln Town Deal, £1.9m from City of Lincoln Council and additional funding from Historic England has funded the regeneration works.
Refurbishment work to the market has included a new mezzanine floor overlooking the market floor and new toilets.
The market is now home to more than 20 traders, including a family run coffee company and plant sales firm.
Selina Wong, who has opened a bubble tea stall, said she was grateful for the opportunity.
"It's a dream come true," she said.
Verena Hanley, 29, has set up her first permanent shop in the market, selling embroidery items inspired by traditional tattoos and tattoo culture.
"I've had this business for a few years now and this is the next step," she said.
She added she was really impressed with the work that had been done to the building.
Other traders include family run coffee company Stokes, watch repair specialist Tick King and Bradford Plants, which is run by a Lincolnshire-based couple.
