Dozens of cannabis plants have been seized from a property in Coalville.

Leicestershire Police said 70 plants and additional equipment were discovered at a property in Forest Road on Monday following "information from a partner agency".

An investigation to identify who was responsible for the grow is under way following the discovery, the force added.

Officers added all of the plants that were seized would be destroyed.
