The Bushy's TT Village is set to return to the Villa Marina in May, organisers have confirmed.

The village, which has been running at the Villa Marina since 2017, will open at 17:00 BST on 29 May and run until 7 June.

Having attracted about 90,000 revellers last year, with organisers expecting more people in 2025, the festival will feature 47 different acts, which are mostly local, during the period.

Dave Wookey, one of the Directors of organising firm Key Bar Events said the village had an "unbeatable atmosphere".

'Keep things local'

"We try to keep things quite local" including music and food stalls, he said.

In March, plans were put forward by Event Management Solutions for a marketplace on the Bottleneck Car Park during the 2025 TT races.

Mr Wookey said he thought it was positive as it would "bring more people into town" adding the competition "keeps us all on our toes".

The TT Village would also feature independent retailers, local food vendors and a number of bars.

"We are really excited" about this year's event, he said, with the team having started preparations in October.
