A man has appeared in court charged with three counts of assault, one of which is said to be racially aggravated, following an incident outside Bradford College.
Police were called to Great Horton Road, in Bradford, at about 09:20 BST on 9 October, following reports of a man carrying what appeared to be a knife.
David Noutch, 31, of no fixed abode, was subsequently arrested and charged with offences including racially aggravated assault, racially aggravated threatening behaviour, two counts of common assault and threatening another with a bladed article, namely a pair of garden secateurs.
Appearing at Bradford Crown Court, Mr Noutch entered not guilty pleas to all seven offences before being remanded in custody. He was told his trial would be held at the same court on 10 March.
