A 15-year-old boy will compete in The Voice Kids' semi-finals after being spotted busking in Munich.

Joshua Blake, from Trowbridge, Wiltshire, impressed all four judges in the Germany show during the audition stage and now hopes to get all the way to the finals.

He first started busking at Bath's Christmas Market last year and loved it.

"I did half an hour and made £110. I thought 'I like this'," Joshua said.

"I went on holiday to Munich and my dad thought let's do some busking. We sang a few songs and the German public said I should come on the Voice in Germany."

Before appearing on TV, Joshua said he was terrified but overall it was an "amazing experience".

Since a young age, Joshua has loved singing.

"I say really I started singing when I had lessons and did concerts, Christmas carols, open mics - I loved it," he added.

"It went brilliantly. As soon as I started singing, I felt so comfortable."

Joshua has mainly sung Adele songs on the show so far.

"I love Adele, she has brilliant songs. The power and emotions she puts into it, I love the story behind it as well," he added.
