A one-year-old girl has suffered life-changing injuries to her face and two adults have been seriously hurt after a dog attack in Greater Manchester.
Air ambulance crews attended after the incident in Baslow Road, Denton, at about 17:50 BST on Thursday.
All three victims, including a 21-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, had been taken to hospital where they were receiving treatment for injuries that were not believed to life-threatening, police said.
The dog had been seized by officers and "humanely destroyed", Greater Manchester Police said.
The force has launched an investigation.
Det Supt Gareth Jenkins said: "This was an awful attack that has left a one-year-old girl with serious and life-changing injuries.
"Her family are understandably incredibly distressed by what happened here last night."
They are appealing for information and footage from anyone in the area.
