Manx ferry sailings cancelled due to strong winds

Overnight ferry sailings between the Isle of Man and Heysham have been cancelled due to forecasted strong winds, the Isle of Man Steam Packet has confirmed.
Monday's 19:15 GMT Manxman sailing to Heysham, and the 02:15 return crossing, have been called off.
A yellow weather warning is in place for coastal overtopping, external, from 13:00 until 05:00 on Tuesday.
Ronaldsway Met Office said the predicted strong south to south-west winds are likely to carry waves and debris onto exposed roads and promenades during high tides at 14:45 on Monday and 03:15 on Tuesday.
Areas likely to be affected are Shore Road Rushen, Castletown Promenade and Northern Douglas Promenade.
Weather forecasters have said the amount of water and debris is expected to be greater overnight.
