A 16-year-old has been discharged from hospital with possibly life-changing injuries after being stabbed in the face.
Cambridgeshire Police were called to playing fields off Ermine Street North on Saturday, at 22:00 BST, following reports of a stabbing.
The force arrested four teenagers - a 17-year-old boy from Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, a 17-year-old boy from Saffron Waldon, Essex, and a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, both from Chatteris, Cambridgeshire - but they have now been released on bail.
Det Insp Lindsay Harbour said: "I understand the concern from the local community following this incident, however, I hope it provides some reassurance that we have made four arrests."
He continued: "Officers will be in the area today carrying out enquiries. I would urge anyone who has not yet spoken with us to make contact as soon as possible."
The force has urged anyone with more information to come forward and help with inquiries.
