Man charged with double murder after shooting

A man has been charged with the murder of two men in Wolverhampton.
Duaine Mills, aged 28, and Syed Zain Ali, 32, died after the shooting in Leicester Street at around 03:10am on 19 September.
Mohammed Maneer Khan was arrested on Thursday and has since been charged with both of their murders.
The 38-year-old, was also charged with attempted murder, two firearms offences, and fraud by false representation. He is due at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Friday.
A second man, Yaseen Patel, 34, from Birmingham, is due at the same court charged with assisting an offender.
Senior investigating officer Jenny Birch said: "These charges represent another significant step forward in our investigation.
"As has been the case throughout, our thoughts remain with the families of Duaine and Syed, [and] they are being kept updated and supported by specialist officers.
"We continue to appeal for anyone with information about the murders to get in touch."
