A man who was involved in the summer disorder in Birmingham last year has been jailed.
Muhammed Ali, of Yardley Green Road, pleaded guilty to using or threatening unlawful violence at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday.
The 20-year-old was jailed for two years and six months after his involvement in the unrest in Bordesley Green, which started after rumours spread of a far-right protest in the area on 5 August
He was also jailed for causing racially aggravated criminal damage to a Skoda Octavia on the same date, a charge he denied.
