Man taken to hospital after being hit by bus

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Leicester city centre.
Leicestershire Police said officers were called to Belgrave Gate just before 07:30 BST on Monday to reports a pedestrian had been knocked over.
The force confirmed he had been taken to hospital but has not released any further details.
Officers closed Belgrave Gate at its junctions with Abbey Street, Orchard Street, Wilton Street and Garden Street as investigations continued but reopened the route at 11:50.
