Seasonal speed and parking limits for Guernsey are set to change this week as islanders spend less time at the coast.

The change in speed limit from 25mph to 35mph (40km/h to 56km/h) at Route de la Lague, Route de Rocquaine and Vazon starts on Wednesday until 31 May next year.

The limit of parking in some spaces would change from two-hour to 10-hour parking, the speed limit would change in areas and a one way restriction has been set to be removed.

Short-term parking spaces will be become 10-hour ones from 27 September until 1 October at Havelet Bay, La Vallette and South Esplanade.

The summer daytime one-way restriction currently in place in the section between Petit Bôt Tearooms and Les Pages will be removed from the start of October.
