A four-storey hotel at Europe's largest urban sports centre has got the go-ahead.
The facility will be built at Adrenaline Alley, in Corby, Northamptonshire, where several world and Olympic champions have trained.
Accommodation will be available for users of the sports centre, their families and friends.
The charity that runs the centre said the hotel would provide a better customer experience and bring in extra income.

Adrenaline Alley has trained a number of Olympic and world champions
Founded by the mother of a boy who was attacked and had his skateboard stolen, Adrenaline Alley has grown to become internationally recognised.
The BMX Freestyler Kieran Reilly became the latest Adrenaline Alley rider to collect an Olympic medal, when he took Silver in Paris in July.
The Corby venue said it attracted more than 80,000 visitors each year, with more than 70% travelling from outside the area and a large number of those travelling from abroad.

The hotel will be built between two existing buildings at Adrenaline Alley
The venue said the addition of short-stay accommodation in "Rampside Rooms" on the site was the “natural next step” for improving the facility and customer experience.
The building, which was approved by North Northamptonshire Council, external on 8 October, will have 24 rooms including two wheelchair-accessible units.
Each unit will have sleeping space for up to five guests, a bathroom and kitchen space.
The hotel will be located on hardstanding between two of the existing buildings and will have 24 parking spaces.

The hotel would be taller than other buildings on the site
Adrenaline Alley said: “Locating the rooms as close to the action as possible will enrich the value of their experience while training and having a comfortable resting place during their visit.
"Delivering a purpose built facility to accommodate riders and their families will not only enhance the customer’s experiences, it will also unlock new income streams for the charity."
