Third arrest after man suffers facial injuries

A third person has been arrested after a man suffered "significant facial injuries" in Plymouth on 19 January.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a man, aged 25, from Plymouth, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent after the incident which took place in Manor Street.

Officers said inquiries were ongoing to locate a "further suspect".

"He has been released on bail pending further enquiries," police added.

A 17-year-old male, from Plymouth, was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause GBH with intent and was released on bail, pending further inquiries.

Officers also said a man, aged 28, from the city, was arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent and remained in police custody.

Police asked anyone with information to contact the force.
