A trade show event in London is a "great way of elevating the brand of Jersey", a tourism chief says.

Later, Visit Jersey's CEO, Tricia Warwick, is due to speak about the impact of TV and film on tourism at the annual World Travel Market event.

The show is attended by thousands of industry professionals from around the world.

In August, a reboot of the TV show Bergerac was partly filmed in the island and Mrs Warwick plans to talk about the benefits it could have on island tourism.

"We have a stand there, we are hosting a breakfast to entertain our key customers and I'm speaking on a panel talking about set-jetting, obviously referencing the work we are doing with Bergerac," said Mrs Warwick.

"It's a great way of elevating the brand of Jersey as you get a lot of industry insight to be able to promote Jersey in its best light."

The reboot of Bergerac is due to air in early 2025.
