A man has been charged with murder after another man died days after he was attacked in a house in Greater Manchester.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, died on Tuesday after he was seriously injured at the home in Irvine Avenue, Boothstown, Salford, on Sunday.

Jack Naylor, 22, of Irvine Avenue, was charged with with murder, two counts of assault on an emergency worker, a racially aggravated public order offence and domestic assault.

He was remanded in custody and scheduled to attend Manchester Magistrates Court on Friday.
