Rape arrest after man pushes his way into home

A man has been arrested following a report of a woman being raped in Hastings.
Police said a man, who was not known to the woman, called at an address in a road near the centre of Hastings and pushed his way through the front door, shortly before 19:00 GMT on 30 November.
Following a CCTV appeal and the release of an e-fit image, a 32-year-old local man handed himself in at Hastings police station on Saturday, said Sussex Police.
He was arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in police custody, the force said.
Det Insp Amanda Zinyama said: "This investigation has raised significant concern within the community and caused a young woman extreme distress."
She urged anyone with information to contact the force.
