Blur bandmember Alex James has announced he will be performing at next year's Latitude Festival.

The festival is due to take place between 23 and 26 July 2026 at Henham Park near Southwold in Suffolk.

James announced his 2026 tour dates for his Britpop Classical show on his website, which included a Latitude show on 26 July.

The festival has not yet unveiled any of its lineup, but a spokesperson said an announcement would be made soon, and James could be included in its 20th year of events.

Melvin Benn, festival founder and director, added: "We couldn't possibly comment, but we love everything about Alex, including his orchestral manoeuvres, so it would be nice."

James' show features a live band including an orchestra, and he says it is a "unique concert" which "reimagines the songs that defined a generation, delivering an electrifying blend of melodies and stunning classical arrangements".

The artist has also announced shows throughout 2026 in London, Manchester and other cities.

This year's Latitude line-up saw the likes of Sting, Fatboy Slim, Snow Patrol, Elbow and more.
