TV star and pantomime dame Christopher Biggins will switch on Woking's Christmas tree lights.
Biggins, who is starring in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the New Victoria Theatre, will light up the tree donated by Woking Asian Business Forum.
There will also be carol singing, live music, dance performances, and a traditional Christmas market with gifts and refreshments.
The event will take place in Jubilee Square on 21 November from 16:45 GMT, with the lights switched on at 18:00.
Shahid Azeem, chair of Woking Asian Business Forum, said: "Christmas is about community, family, celebration and togetherness.
"We are proud to support the local community by donating this year’s Christmas tree.
"It’s a pleasure to contribute to a celebration that brings our communities together and spreads festive cheer."
Ann-Marie Barker, Woking Borough Council's leader, said the Christmas lights switch-on brought together "people of all ages to celebrate the joy of the season".
