Suspect on mountain bike wanted over street attack

A man is in a critical but stable condition after he was seriously assaulted in Elgin.
Police Scotland said the incident happened at about 15:15 on Friday outside a business premises on Harrow Inn Close.
The 55-year-old man taken to hospital and the lane was sealed off to allow investigators to gather evidence.
Officers said the suspect is white, in his 20s, of slim build with short ginger hair.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a black Napapijri hooded jacket, black jogging bottoms and gloves.
The man was riding a mountain bike on South Street moments before the confrontation.
Det Insp Andrew Wilson said: "I understand this incident will be concerning for the local community, and I can reassure them that detectives are following several lines of inquiry, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing relevant CCTV footage.
"I am also appealing directly to the man involved to come forward, external at this stage and speak to officers."
