A park has been revamped with a range of improvements, including a new playground and fitness area.
The work was done at Northwood Park in Bushbury after City of Wolverhampton carried out a consultation with the public to hear their ideas to transform the space.
The play area has inclusive equipment for children with restricted mobility, including swings, a seesaw and roundabout, while the park also has a new wildflower meadow and a multi-use games area.
Councillor Bhupinder Gakhal said the "fantastic transformation" is part of the new Hampton Park development on nearby land at the former Northicote School, which will include 178 new homes.
"There is a wide range of improvements ready and waiting for visitors – from new play equipment and a multi-use games area to a new fitness area and seating to relax," he said.
"We'd like to thank people for sharing their thoughts and we really hope that our local families and other visitors enjoy this great range of new attractions and refurbishments."
The council carried out the work with developers JP Landscapes & Construction Ltd.
The new games area has been set up next to the existing skate park and basketball pitch to create an all-weather area for football, cricket and other ball games.
Other improvements include a fitness area towards the centre of the park, and the planting of 40 trees.
There is also now a new path with nearby bench and litter bin on the northeastern corner to improve access for activities such as dog walking.
