Plans have been submitted for 135 homes, as part of the next phase of a major Telford housing development.
The proposals are part of the 1,100-dwelling Priorslee East Strategic Urban Extension development.
Planning agent Roebuck Planning told Telford and Wrekin Council that the application made provision for 24 per cent of the homes to be classified as affordable.
In total, there are plans for 32 affordable two and three-bedroom units, 103 open-market homes with two, three and four bedrooms, and 281 parking spaces.
Although council standards call for 271 spaces, the agents said they were a guide and there was acknowledged flexibility in their application.
"The slight oversupply here will help to reduce the potential for ad-hoc on-street parking," they said.
The overall site, as well as up to 1,100 dwellings, includes a commercial and employment centre, new primary school and retirement village.
A consultation period has been launched, with members of the public able to submit comments.
