People in Stoke-on-Trent will be asked for their opinions on the redevelopment of a Victorian library and baths.

Plans to transform the Grade II listed Tunstall Library and Baths building into flats and a community space were unveiled last year.

The site has been unused since the library relocated in 2022 following the closure of the baths 11 years earlier.

The first phase of the £8m scheme, which includes 23 apartments, will be displayed at two public consultation events at Tunstall Town Hall.

The first will take place from 12:00-16:00 BST on 3 September, while the second will be held between 16:00-20:00 on 4 September.

A planning application for the development is due to be submitted later this year following the public consultation, Stoke-on-Trent City Council said.
