Outdoor water park closes a week after reopening

An outdoor water park has closed a week after it reopened for the summer season.

Bretton Water Park in Barnstock, Peterborough was due to reopen on 9 July, however, this was delayed until 23 July, external.

Vivacity, which manages the facility, said on social media that the pool would need to close for the rest of the week due to a fault with the water pump.

It said, external: "Due to an issue with the water pump, Bretton Water Park will unfortunately not be opening for the rest of this week."

The company apologised for any "inconvenience caused".
