The GSPCA says volunteers are needed round the clock

  • Published

An animal charity in Guernsey is looking for volunteers to help rescue and exercise animals in need.

The GSPCA said it needed people to work as wardens on its animal ambulances.

It is also looking for volunteers to help with fundraisers, exercising the dogs in its care and for the reception desk.

Volunteers would be supported with induction events, the charity said.

It said volunteers, who must be aged 16 or over, were needed round the clock during the week and weekends as its animal ambulances were available 24/7.

Steve Byrne, GSPCA manager, said: "With any volunteer role the easiest way to apply is to complete our online application form which only takes a few minutes and we can then get you started."

Details of the roles are available on the charity's website, external.
