Road closures will be put in place over the weekend as Take That arrive in Bristol for two sold-out concerts.

The 90s boy band, known for hits such as Never Forget and Shine, will bring their This Life On Tour to Ashton Gate Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.

Stadium bosses have told fans Ashton Road, Winterstoke Road, Barons Close and Wedlock Way will all be subject to closures.

No parking will be available at the stadium, with a sold-out shuttle bus operating over the weekend to transport fans to and from the concerts.

The last time Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen performed in Bristol was in 2019, when they formed part of the Ashton Gate's Summer Series.

Ashton Road will close from 15:00 BST on Saturday, and the ticket office and fan village will open at the same time.

The stadium itself, home to Bristol City and the Bristol Bears rugby team, will open from 17:00, and support act Olly Murs is due on stage at 19:15.

Winterstoke Road, Barons Close and Wedlock Way will be closed between 21:00 and midnight for both concerts.

Fans will access the stadium via three entry points - Gates 1, 2 & 3.

Bag searches will take place on arrival, with the stadium banning fans from bringing their own food and drink, unless it is for "medicinal purposes".
