A man has been charged with arson after a house fire in Stoke-on-Trent.
The blaze broke out at a property near Hunters Way, Penkhull, just after 01:00 BST on Friday, Staffordshire Police said.
Officers said the house was “well alight” and a man in his 50s was taken to hospital in a non-life threatening condition.
A 59-year-old man from Penkhull has been accused of arson with intent to endanger life and is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday.
