'Mr T' claims £1m lottery prize

A mystery winner, identified only as Mr T, has won £1m on a lottery instant win game.

The Shropshire man claimed the prize on the Black Pearl game on the National Lottery website.

The lottery has not revealed his full name or where he lives after he requested only partial publicity.

The lottery said more than eight million players win each week on its range of games.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, “Fantastic news for Mr T who has become a millionaire overnight. Huge Congratulations!”

Mr T, who has not said whether he will be getting on a plane, external, is the second Shropshire lottery millionaire in a month.

Another winner came forward to claim a prize last month, after an appeal for players to check their tickets.
