Four charged over pub football disorder

Four men have been charged with affray over disorder at the Steam Railway pub in Swindon

Four men have been charged with affray in connection with disorder at a pub after England's Euro 2024 semi-final match.

Myles Fisher, 22, and Max Fisher, 18, both of Buckerfields, Ogbourne St George, Devonte O’Brien, 19, of Hanbury Road, Park South, and Zac Stride, 18, of Middleton Close, Walcot, have been charged by Wiltshire Police.

All four have been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing on 9 August.

A further four men have also been arrested after the incident at the Steam Railway pub in Newport Street, Swindon, on Wednesday 10 July after England's win over the Netherlands.

The men, all aged in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and assault, and have been bailed.

Wiltshire Police has asked anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage to get in touch.
