Passenger, 83, dies after single-vehicle accident

An 83-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Cornwall, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the woman from the Callington area had been a front seat passenger in a car involved in a single-vehicle collision on the A390 between St Ive and Merrymeet on 4 February.
The force said both the driver, an 88-year-old woman, also from the Callington area, and her passenger had been taken to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
The woman died at the hospital on Monday as a result of her injuries, police said.
The woman's next of kin had been informed, they added.
Officers have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
