Man dies of injuries after being hit by lorry

A man has died after being hit by a lorry in Leicestershire.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck on the A5199, near Wigston between Kilby and the River Sence, just before 06:30 GMT on Friday.
The force said the man, 22, died as a result of his injuries on Monday.
A 53-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
He was later released under investigation, the force said.
