- Published
Train services have been disrupted after a second landslip occurred near the entrance to a tunnel in Devon.
The first landslip happened between Axminster and Honiton on Tuesday and impacted South Western Railways (SWR) trains.
Network Rail Wessex said engineers had removed the fallen mud and installed a temporary wall.
However, on Thursday it said an external ground water source had caused the second landslip which led to more spoil falling on to the line.
It posted on X, external: "Following a landslip between Exeter Central and Axminster, all lines have now reopened.
"At this time, we estimate that disruption to our services will be until the end of the day."
It said tickets could be used on other services, external without charge.
