The A48 in Gloucestershire has reopened following a serious collision.

Gloucestershire Police were called at about 16:40 to reports of a two-vehicle collision outside the National Diving Centre in Tidenham.

Police remained at the scene overnight for investigation work.

Motorists had been asked to avoid the scene and find alternative routes, but traffic conditions have now returned to normal.
