Pavement surfers will be fined, say police

Bailiwick Law Enforcement said it was illegal to cruise along the pavement at a speed

Driving with two wheels on the pavement remains a "contentious issue" on the island, police have said.
Bailiwick Law Enforcement said it was against the law to cruise along the pavement at a speed which puts pedestrians at serious risk.
The force said pavement surfing also makes exiting a driveway "very dangerous".
It said if a person was seen "driving recklessly on the pavement" they would face a £65 fine.
The law only allows exceptions for passing obstructions in the road, police added.
"We understand that this can be necessary quite often in Guernsey, but when you do need to mount the pavement, it must be done safely", the force said.
